Runecraft: OSRS Ironman guide

Guardians of the Rift (27) is the ironman method: outfit, pouches, talismans and runes. Lava runes are faster.

Ironman tips

  • Rune Mysteries (mandatory). Temple of the Eye (5,000 xp) unlocks GOTR.
  • GOTR (27+): Raiments of the Eye (+60% runes), pouches (colossal 85), abyssal lantern, catalytic/elemental talismans, Ring of the elements.
  • Pure essence: Rune Mysteries -> mine at the Rune Essence mine (Aubury/Wizard Sedridor). Cromperty (Ardougne diary) gives 100-250 daily.
  • Lava runes (23): 60-80k xp/h with Magic Imbue (Lunar 82). Requires Fire tiara + Earth talisman + Binding necklace.
  • Blood runes (77, Arceuus): AFK 35-40k xp/h and you need blood runes for Barrage. Soul runes 90.
  • Nature runes (44): Karamja nature altar via the Abyss (Enter the Abyss). Death (65): Mourning's End II. Law (54): Entrana.
