Orb volleys blocked by the right prayer: blue Magic, green Missiles, orange Melee, rocks move. Each volley gets faster. Stun it with Shadow spells to hit its back; at 20% it enrages with the pathfinder.

Volleys

Blue = Protect from Magic (32), green = Missiles (24), orange = Melee (50), rocks = step off the shadow (25). From 3 ticks down to 1 tick with all 3 styles.

No warning if next to the pool (diagonals included). Mark those tiles and stay off them.

Roar and debris

At the end of each volley it roars (7 chip) and debris falls, one permanent on your tile: move 1 tile.

Stun

Any Shadow spell holds it 15 ticks: hit the wound on its back (ranged at least ~65% of max, magic double). Resets its sequence one step: use sparingly.

Specials

Lightning: run in a tight circle. Smoke: drops debris every tick and after 10 blasts (59): hide behind one. It alternates between the two.

Enrage 20%

At 180 HP the abyssal pathfinder spawns (north-west): stand in its 5x5 or your prayers fail; inside you have perfect accuracy (blowpipe). Attacks every 2 ticks, magic and ranged only.

1. Amulet of the Eye or GotR minigame teleport, Catalytic Guardian to the Scar (or Ring of shadows with the Scarred tablet).
2. Ancients with Shadow Rush runes; pre-eat an anglerfish.
3. Switch prayer by colour, step off rock shadows, never next to the pool.
4. Debris east/west = Lightning first; north/south = Smoke first.
5. Leave it near 20%, stun it and hit its back; in enrage run to the pathfinder and finish.

• 💡 Shadow Rush stuns just like Barrage at a third of the cost. Radius Markers: NPC ID 12220, range 1, to see the pathfinder's area.
• 💡 Bowfa with crystal or Tbow avoid the ruby bolts' damage falloff; Zaryte crossbow has the best spec.
