Demon under the Catacombs of Kourend; you enter by sacrificing a Dark totem at the central altar. Protect from Melee with magic-defence armour, Arclight, and run to disable the altars he activates or your damage drops up to 60%.

Protect from Melee the whole time while next to him.

Magic

Very accurate. Karil's or d'hide to block it, or Protect from Magic while away: he does not chase to melee.

Awakened altars

He activates altars on the 4 sides; each cuts your damage 15% (Arclight/Emberlight) or 25% (other weapons). Go with Protect from Magic and disable it: Arclight does it in one hit. 1 min cooldown.

Minions

At 2/3 HP he summons 3 Reanimated demon spawns and sometimes a Dark Ankou. Ignore them with Protect from Melee.

1. Xeric's talisman (Xeric's heart) and go down the King Rada I statue to the centre of the catacombs.
2. Dark totem on the altar. Super combat, Protect from Melee and Piety.
3. Arclight and defence-lowering specs (DWH, BGS) or damage specs (claws).
4. When an altar lights up: Protect from Magic, run, one Arclight hit, and back.
5. Ignore the minions and finish the kill. Guaranteed hard clue and Ancient shards.
